Jennifer Peaslee

I am the Program and Communications Coordinator for the Cornell Wildlife Health Lab, where I serve as web content manager, create educational webinars, and manage social media accounts on X and Instagram platforms. I received my BS in Entomology (yay spiders!), with a minor in Infectious Disease Biology, from Cornell University. Additionally, I received a graduate certificate in Creative Strategy from West Virginia University's College of Marketing Communications, focusing on science communication. I am interested in wildlife health outreach, educating the public on the importance of wildlife population health, and the role of disease surveillance in predicting outbreaks and potential pandemics. I am also interested in the relationship between wildlife species and the invertebrates that cause disease, with a focus on pathogen transmission and how infectious diseases can impact population health.
